Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was pleased with Mateo Kovacic's performance for their friendly win at Yokohama F Marinos.
City won a spectacular goalfest 5-3 in Yokohama.
Guardiola was pleased with Kovacic's first showing in a City shirt.
He said: “Really good.
“He is an exceptional player, we know it. It's just the first game. He has to know us and what we want.
“But really, really good."
