Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has spoken about midfielder Kevin De Bruyne today.
The Spanish head coach was speaking to the press ahead of City's Premier League game with Chelsea on Sunday.
Asked if De Bruyne was closing in on a return from a hamstring injury, Guardiola was non-committal.
He stated: “I don't know. I spoke to him two days ago and he feels really good but he isn't training with us, not running much.
“I think, I don't know, these kind of injuries it's better not to put pressure. When he feels good and the doctors are confident we can take the next step.
“You don't want to go too early and have to go back again. Kevin was a tough injury, surgery, so step by step."
