Manchester City are in talks to buy into ADO Den Haag.
AD via Voetbalzone says ADO Den Haag are seeking a new buyer and are in desperate need given their financial situation.
ADO Den Haag has until November 1 to find a new owner, or at least a bank guarantee of €5.1m. If that fails, the club's professional license from the Keuken Kampioen Divisie will be revoked. ADO has now been deducted six points in the competition.
However, they could yet be rescued with City Football Group now in talks to buy the club.
ADO have confirmed they're also in contact with a Japanese group interested in a takeover.
City Football Group's most recent purchase was French club Troyes last year when they were in Ligue 2. Following the investment, Troyes won promotion to Ligue 1 for this season and now have Erik Palmer-Brown, Issa Kaboure, Patrick Roberts and Philippe Sandler on-loan from Manchester City.
