Manchester City midfielder Rodri admits he had major fears after being forced off during the Club World Cup final win against Fluminense.

Rodri was on the wrong end of a nasty challenge from Aleksander.

He later said: "I was very lucky today. It was one of the worst tackles of my career. I was so scared because I felt something in my knee, but luckily it was nothing. I told him (Aleksander), 'you can't do that'.

"I won a trophy, but I got more than that.

"I am able to come home without an injury and I was very close to crying."
