Manchester United have agreed to ship out a young academy product to get more first team experience.
The Red Devils will send Rhys Bennett on loan to League Two side Stockport County.
The 20-year-old, per the Manchester Evening News, had been eager for a move to play regularly.
Bennett, who has been on the bench four times under Erik ten Hag, will now play for the League Two leaders.
Bennett has played 67 times for United's various youth sides, while he was a part of the team's FA Youth Cup success in 2022.
He was close to a first team debut, but missed out on game time in recent weeks as he was injured.
