Man Utd keeper Onana makes massive AFCON decision

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has decided to miss his country's opening African Cup of Nations game.

Onana was set to play for United against Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday, before then going to play at AFCON a day later.

Now, per the i newspaper, Onana will play against Tottenham and then eventually travel to the Ivory Coast.

He will not, however, play in their opening game against Guinea, which is a blow to Cameroon coach Rigobert Song.

Onana has concerns about losing his place at United if he is absent for too many games.

However, the former Inter Milan and Ajax star will have to miss at least one or two Premier League clashes.
