Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has undergone a medical with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Terms have been agreed between all parties over a loan deal to June for Van de Beek. The agreement will include a mooted €8m buyout clause.
Van de Beek, 26, has scored just two goals and produced two assists in 62 games since his move from Ajax over three years ago.
The Dutchman was scheduled to undergo a medical in Germany this week and it's emerged the first part of the tests were held yesterday.
Van de Beek told the Mirror last week: "I am bouncing to play matches again.
"The manager is making different choices now. We have a big squad and I am not the only one knocking on the door. We'll see in January what happens.
"I need to start playing games very soon - if not at Man United then at another club. I think I have to be ambitious.
“I have always been a lover of the game. I am absolutely crazy about football.
“I earn a good living at United, but money is not my motivation. I want to enjoy my work every day."
