Manchester United loanee Sergio Reguilon has returned to Tottenham this week.
The Spaniard signed for the Red Devils on a season long loan deal in August.
However, the deal did have a clause allowing for a mid-season break, should all parties agree.
Per The Athletic, United triggered that clause to allow Reguilon to go back to Spurs.
Whether he plays for the North London club, or moves on to another team on loan, is not clear.
Reguilon only managed 12 games for United, starting only seven of them, despite the club having an injury crisis in defense.
