Marseille will be playing under pressure when they take on Brighton in the Europa League.
AC Milan legend and current Marseille coach Gennaro Gattuso believes a packed Stade Velodrome will expect a great performance.
The new head coach wants to get the fans behind the team, but knows he faces a tough contest against Roberto De Zerbi's Albion.
Speaking in his press conference, Gattuso said: “It is our duty to light up the Velodrome because the supporters can help you.
"But, if you play badly in the first 20 minutes, the atmosphere can lose itself a bit.
There will be a lot of pressure. It is down to us to handle it.
“The reading of the match is simple.
“They are a team who always play the same with a lot of possession.
If you had to give them a title, it would be 'courage and without fear'.
“If you press, you have to be careful because they are very good at playing out.
“You have to play, not be timid. Players change but the philosophy always stays the same with this team."
