MLS interest arrives for Forest outcast Origi

Liverpool cult hero Divock Origi could be set for a spell in the United States this year.

The 2019 Champions League winner, who became a fan favorite for his goals off the bench for the Reds, is unhappy at present.

He is at Nottingham Forest, but has only played nine times so far this season.

The Athletic's MLS correspondent Tom Bogert has stated the following on X: "On the Divock Origi to MLS links: I can say with certainty he's been offered to clubs around the league.

“So the possibility is real. I think he's a player who would a lot of sense in MLS but TBD on if a deal happens."

Origi is spending the campaign on loan at Forest from his parent club AC Milan, where he moved in 2022.
