New PSG coach Luis Enrique: Mbappe? Everything is open

New PSG coach Luis Enrique admits "something can happen" regarding Kylian Mbappe and his future with the club.

Enrique was presented as new coach of PSG this morning.

The former Barcelona and Spain coach took questions on several topics, including the futures of Mbappe and Neymar.

He declared: “I like to feel the pressure. It's great to feel the pressure. There are like 10 teams with that same obsession. There are teams with more experience than us, but it doesn't mean we can't beat them. You have to be ambitious and look for the best version of the team. It's a goal for all of us."

Luis Enrique jokes about his relationship with the press:

“There will be no problem because I don't understand a word of you. You can say what you want, I don't understand a damn thing!"

Neymar.

"I have not talked with him. I have spoken with Kimpembe, Mukiele and Nuno Mendes. With no one else. We will have the opportunity to meet each other. It is something internal to us. I want my decisions to be based on our training. We'll see what happens. PSG is a top team. There will be changes. As the president has said, it is clear that we must have a style that excites the fans and makes them enjoy every week."

Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi.

“They were players whose contracts expired before I arrived at the club. I was not involved in both cases. Luis Campos is working hard. It would be ridiculous for us to work individually."

Mbappe.

“He has a contract and we don't know what's going on behind the scenes because things are constantly changing. We will have a strong squad, I'm sure of that. When I signed I already knew that everything was open in the squad. In the market some things can happen."

About his relationship with Luis Campos.

“I have always gotten along well with sports directors and it is a great honor to work with Luis Campos. I am convinced that he will put together a great team."

His style of play.

“My idea of football is offensive football, football that entertains the fans and, above all, football that gives good results. That is my challenge. I have the help of the club. I think the fans are going to love what they're going to see."

Luis Enrique on his arrival in Paris.

“I am very happy to sign with PSG. I thank the president and the sports director for their trust and I hope to repay it in the coming seasons"
