Barcelona are emerging favourites for Palmeiras teen Estevao Willian.

The attacking midfielder, dubbed 'Messinho', is wanted by Europe's biggest clubs. His father visited the facilities of Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain in October. His tour concluded with time spent in Barcelona.

And it is Barca which is favoured by Messinho and his family.

However, for his switch to Barcelona to be completed, the forward's agent, André Cury, and the top leaders of the Catalan club will have to finalise the operation next week given Palmeiras' rush to secure a good fee for the youngster.

If there is no agreement, Palmeiras will pressure Messinho to opt for one of the proposals already on the table.
