PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi insists he doesn't want to lose Kylian Mbappe.
The striker is off contract in June and being linked with Real Madrid.
Al-Khelaifi told RMC: "Of course I want Kylian to stay, that's for sure. He is the best player in the world and the best club for Kylian is PSG. He is at the centrer of everything.
"Kylian is a great man, a great player, but also a great person. As he said after the European Cup, he has an agreement with me. I don't want to talk about money and say how much the deal is worth.
"We have a 'gentleman's agreement', our agreement is not about money. It's between a player and the club president, the sporting director and the coach: it's more than a signed agreement."
Al-Khelaïfi added: "I ask everyone to leave Kylian alone. Leave us alone."
The president also had a word for Lionel Messi, who has complained about the way he's been treated by PSG.
"I have great respect for him, but if someone wants to speak badly of Paris Saint-Germain after his departure, that's no good. This is not respect," said Al-Khelaifi.
"He's not a bad guy but I don't like it. I would say it's not just for him but it's for everyone. We talk when we are present, not when we are not. It's not our style."
