Real Madrid remain favourites to sign PSG star Kylian Mbappe in 2024.
That's according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who states Premier League clubs are "quiet" around the Bosman prospect.
He said on his KICK channel: "Every single week we have different records - I still remember in November we heard Real Madrid are no longer going for Mbappe, then we had going for him in January, then we heard the summer, every time is different.
"Guys, what I am told is that in January Mbappe is not expecting to go to any club. Real Madrid or any other. The idea of Kylian Mbappe is to complete the season at Paris Saint-Germain and then to decide what they want to do in terms of negotiations for next season. The negotiations with Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe will take place in early 2024 - could be January, February, March - but Mbappe is not going anywhere in January.
"Also Paris Saint-Germain will offer him a new contract, but I am not here to guarantee to you a decision will be made on the Mbappe story in January. This could still take time and when Mbappe will decide, I will tell you. The situation is still really quiet with English clubs, with Real Madrid pushing for Mbappe."
