Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil was satisfied with their 0-0 draw against RB Salzburg.
Imanol felt they did enough to win this Champions League tie.
He said “We didn't score, but I think we created clear opportunities to score. Today, we didn't get it completely right, but I'm very happy about the great work we did. We were probably better in the second half than the first, but Salzburg also did their job.
"Defensively, they were aggressive, tough, strong. In the first half, it cost us a little bit more, but I think that if someone deserved to win, on the chances that were created, it was us. And it's a shame we couldn't, but the truth is that we are very happy with the great work the team has done."
Imanol admits they're now aiming to finish group leaders.
"You can imagine what it means, can't you, to be able to go into the last matchday depending on yourself. Well, that's the best news. Also, in a strong and difficult Champions League group, we haven't lost a game yet and that means the team is playing very well and competing very well. Let's see if we are able to keep this level because it's not going to be easy, but we are going to do it."
