Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil insists victory at Almeria was deserved.
With the scores locked at 1-1, Carlos Fernandez from the spot and Martin Zubimendi struck in injury-time.
Imanol later said: "Almería has done a great job, because they have a great coach who, if they are patient, is going to get performance out of the players he has and is going to push forward.
"But I think that, without being brilliant, we have generated more clear situations than they, like when taking advantage before the break, and we scored the goal. If anyone deserved the victory, I think it was us.
The one from Orio was questioned about Sadiq's performance and his substitution at half-time . "He had a great first half. He is working very well, doing what I ask of him. Today he did a great job defensively and in attack he did phenomenal, we could see his desire to score, but he saw a card and I didn't wanted to take the risk, seeing how all the disputes are going.
"I was the one who, in the absence of Mikel (Oyarzabal) and Brais (Mendez), decided that it was Carlos and he played very well. He is another one who you don't see many minutes, but because those who play are at an impressive level, because I am very happy with the work of all of them."
