Real Sociedad remain interested in Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal.

With less than a year to run on his current deal, Monreal is open to a return home to Spain.

Mundo Deportivo says Real Sociedad are in contact, though reluctant to cough up a fee for the veteran.

Now 33, Montreal moved to Arsenal from Malaga in 2013.
