Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is happy with the progress youngster Jordan Ibe is making under his tutelage.
The 19-year-old starred in the Reds' 2-0 pre-season victory over Adelaide United in Australia on Monday and helped create James Milner's opener.
But Liverpool boss Rodgers was quick to point out that the youth star still has plenty of developing to do.
He said: "I think he is still very young, he is still 19 years of age but you can see the potential in him.
"It is just him just continually working hard at his game, he has still got a long way to go for that consistency but everyone sees that potential.
"All our young players know that if they demonstrate the right personality they have a chance to play."
