Sergio Reguilon admits Brentford boss Thomas Frank convinced him about his loan move.

The Tottenham fullback has joined the Bees on-loan to June.

He told his new club's website: “I'm very happy, I think this is what I need now in this moment in my career.

"I want to meet my team-mates and play with them, and now just enjoy my football on the pitch.

“Thomas was key in this move, for me. I'm in a moment where I need to play consistently and I think this club can give me that. These six months, I will do everything for the team, but it's also important for my future.

“I'm happy after my conversation with Thomas; he knows me very well.

“We had many conversations about everything. I remember the first time was more than 40 minutes talking about football, about everything.

“For me, that's so important because he knows me very well and I think we can do very good things together.

“The team has to re-focus in the Premier League, Ivan [Toney]'s back and I think we can do many things together."
