Released Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero is being lined up for a Spanish football return.
Marca via Fussball Transfers says Segunda Division Malaga are eager to re-sign the Argentine veteran.
Caballero was with the Andalusian club between 2011 and 2014. He played 133 games with Malaga before leaving for Manchester City.
The 39 year-old wants to play on and is available for a free transfer this summer. His contract with Chelsea expired at the end of June.
Last season, Caballero acted as third-string goalkeeper at Chelsea, behind Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga. Last season, he made two first team appearances for the European champions.
Over his five years with Chelsea, Caballero played 38 first team games.
Last season, Malaga finished mid-table in the Segunda Division, ending the campaign in 12th place. Jose Alberto was named new coach of Malaga at the end of last season.
