Sergio Ramos accepted a stunning pay-cut to make a return to Sevilla today.
After 18 seasons away, the 37 year-old former Real Madrid captain has re-signed for Sevilla - turning down a raft of massive offers to pursue his career elsewhere.
Released by PSG at the end of last season, Ramos has penned a 12 month deal with Sevilla worth €1.5m. At PSG, he was earning €7m-a-year.
Beyond Sevilla, Ramos had an offer from Galatasaray worth €11m-a-year and also a massive €20m-a-year proposal from Karim Benzema's Al-Ittihad.
But Ramos was determined to return to where it all began and signed his Sevilla contract this morning.
