Roma coach Jose Mourinho could be set for a reunion with his former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.

Ramos is a free agent after leaving PSG at the end of last season and has resisted interest from Saudi Arabia.

The veteran defender has held talks with Galatasaray, but a move to Italy and Roma is now an option.

TMW says Mourinho has put in a call to Ramos about joining him in Rome. The pair are said to have fallen out in Mourinho's final weeks at Real, but it appears they've since fixed their relationship.

Mourinho is also overseeing the arrival of Romelu Lukaku on-loan from Chelsea today.
