Sevilla coach Diego Alonso retains confidence in the job.
There is already talk of Alonso being replaced after a poor start having replaced Jose Luis Mendiibar earlier this season.
Ahead of their Champions League date with PSV, Alonso said: “PSV is a tough team that plays very well. He already showed it in the first leg. It is offensive. We have worked these two weeks to be more solid, in San Sebastián we defended better.
"Their two goals were great goals, difficult to defend. But we have to take a step offensively, do more damage in the opposing area."
Asked if it was a final for him, Alonso insisted: “It's for everyone, for players, coach and staff. For the club. I absorb criticism naturally, it is part of the profession. We have to endure: garlic and water.
"I feel the confidence of the footballers first of all, they are one hundred percent involved, wanting to reverse the situation, knowing that the reward is ahead and what may happen will depend more on us than on the rest.
"Everything that is dark with two or three good results will change. If we win the final tomorrow we can play in the Champions League round of 16 for the fourth time."
