Sevilla coach Diego Alonso admits their Champions League defeat at home to PSV Eindhoven was tough to take.
Fernando struck late to bring the scores to 2-2 before Pepi scored in injury-time for PSV's winner. Lucas Ocampos was sent off for Sevilla on 66 minutes.
Alonso said: "It's a tough defeat, a match that got away from us in an incredible way. We did a lot of good things to win the game; it was under control, and we ended up losing.
"[It was] a great game for 60 minutes. We did things really well. But we committed mistakes which cost us dear. It was tough to play today with the pressure, but we were bold – there were good performances on an individual and collective level.
"In the first half, we could have had a bigger lead. We had chances and, in the second too, we could have added to our advantage. Clearly, there is a before and an after with when we went down to ten men. This is the Champions League and at this level playing with a man less is a very big disadvantage."
