Sevilla veteran Juan Navas says he'd welcome teammate Sergio Ramos back into the Spain squad.

Navas is with the La Roja team this week and admits he's discussed with Ramos about a return.

He said, "Sergio has told me that he wants to return to the national team, it is his dream and he would like it.

"I have not spoken to Sergio today about whether he will be here or out tomorrow (Thursday) at the game. We have a very important game and hopefully we enjoy it."

Meanwhile, Ramos' former Spain teammate Nolito said today: "If he continues with the level he has with Sevilla, he will go with the National Team again. If I were a coach I would take him with my eyes closed, but it's my opinion."
