Tottenham have announced Japhet Tanganga has been recalled from his loan with FC Augsburg.

The defender was on a season-long loan at FCA, but failed to make an appearance.

He has now been recalled and is expected to be sent on a new loan to Millwall.

Last season, Tanganga managed just four appearances in the Premier League.

The defender's deal with Spurs expires at the end of the season.
