Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag felt Sir Jim Ratcliffe will appreciate what he saw from Sunday's 2-2 draw with Tottenham.
It marked Ratcliffe's first attendance at Old Trafford since becoming a 25 per cent shareholder and director.
Ratcliffe took in the game alongside Sir Alex Ferguson and was seen constantly pumping the Scot for his observations.
Ten Hag later said: "He will have seen a team fighting for each other and trying to get a win.
"He will have seen two great goals."
He also said: "I think we can bring more calmness and composure on the ball. We gave so much space away so it is challenging to pass the ball in midfield."
