The agent of River Plate superkid Claudio Echeverri has announced he's joining Manchester City.

The teen has been also wanted by PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

But agent Enzo Montepaone has stated Echeverri is joining City. He told TyC Sports: "I can confirm that everything is ready for Claudio's transfer from River Plate to Manchester City.

"We are very happy."

The intention of City is to have the player develop elsewhere. The first hypothesis is to leave him at River Plate on loan for the whole of 2024, the same strategy used for Julian Alvarez.
