Toronto FC have confirmed the signing of Swiss defender Jonas Elmer.
The 25-year old left-back has joined the Canadian club from FC Winterthur and will be officially added to the roster upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
TFC president Kevin Payne was thrilled to welcome the former FC Aarau and FC Sion man to BMO Field.
"We believe Jonas will be an important part of our club," said Payne. "While he's still young he has solid European experience and we're pleased to welcome him to Toronto."
