Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou says he doesn't look at his job long-term.
Postecoglou insists such thoughts would be a waste of time.
He explained: "If only it was in just my hands, mate. That is not how management works and as much as you all love me right now, it could change very quickly at some point.
"Again, I don't really put a timeline on these things. My role and my responsibility from when I was appointed is to try and get this club into a position where it has success and competes for trophies. None of us have this endless timeline to achieve that, especially at big clubs. You look at Man United and as soon as there is a little blip or it looks like things are slipping away, there is an enormous amount of attention and that changes people's timeline of how things look.
"I don't think about it in those terms. I am determined to try to bring success to the club. Every manager works against an anonymous clock that none of us know what the end time is. If you start thinking in those points of references [making this a home], it takes you away from what the primary task is and my primary task and responsibility is to bring success here."
