Wolves matchwinner Cunha: Now for West Brom!

Matheus Cunha was proud sending Wolves into the FA Cup Fourth Round after their replay win against Brentford.

Cunha's extra-time penalty saw Wolves win 3-2 and setup a derby tie against West Brom.

He later said: “I feel very good. We ran a lot, we did the job we needed to do today to go to the next step, helping the team with assists and goals, but most importantly running, these kinds of things make me very happy.

“It was incredible. After every goal they scored, it was a little bit harder to come back and try to do everything more. It changed the game, but the group is incredible, we showed this in a lot of games, and it's another game to be confident in this group, this team.

“The last game we lost one player, Joao (Gomes), and we kept fighting. We scored to get a draw to come back at home and at home it's completely different. It was a big battle, but we are very happy to win the battle, and now we need to be prepared to win more games.

“Everyone in the stadium can see, we are on the pitch and tired, everything against us, but this kind of energy gives us something more to continue run and battle. The last goal was a trophy for everybody.

“I was completely exhausted, more tired than normal, but everything is OK. The team is the most important thing. Everyone can be a little bit more confident in the team."

He added: "A lot of fans said we needed to win because it's a big derby. I'm very happy to play derbies, I've played Brazil Argentina, Real MadridAtletico Madrid, and now I really want to play Wolves West Brom and make history."
