Former Palermo sporting director Rino Foschi has dismissed talk of Jose Mourinho taking charge of Napoli.
Foschi admits he's no fan of the sacked Roma coach.
Discussing this season's Napoli, he said on Radio Punto Nuovo: "Market or no market, it must recover the head and spirit of a group that was important last year. There has been a lot of confusion from the summer onwards, on and off the pitch.
"Now we need to get serious again, Napoli had the squad to fight for the Scudetto. Someone must take responsibility, because the mistakes are clear to everyone. Working in January to rebuild is almost impossible, because a lot of money is needed to convince clubs and players to change during the season.
"I would aim to rebuild last year's formidable group. Everything has gone well at Napoli in the last 3 years, both technically and economically. And the result should not be forgotten just because of a bad year.
"(President Aurelio) De Laurentiis has more merits than demerits, but he settled too much on the result. This year in the summer no more mistakes can be made, otherwise everything will be irremediably ruined."
Then on Mourinho, Foschi scoffed: "If I said what I think, let's leave it alone... Tell me what's the point of Mourinho in Italy now?! It's not over yet?! Mourinho at Napoli, come on... In Italy we have coaches 70-80 times better than him. That would be ridiculous! De Laurentiis won't fall for it, rest assured."
