Manchester United are active participants in the transfer chase to sign Swedish wonderkid Lucas Bergvall.
The 17-year-old is enjoying a breakthrough season for Djurgarden in the Allsvenskan.
However, the prospect may find himself Premier League bound in the coming months.
Per Fussball News, Newcastle United, German giants Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, and Man United want to sign him.
However, Djurgarden will not make it easy, as they want a fee in the range of £6.85 million to £8.57 million.
The club's sporting director Bo Andersson admitted to having talks with Barca about Bergvall.
He said: “Yes, I can confirm that we have been in contact and in dialogue with Barcelona.
“But it's not a negotiation yet. There was some contact with Barcelona last week but this week we haven't spoken to them."
