Ecuador defender Diego Almeida has left Barcelona for Columbus Crew.
The 19 year-old spent the past 12 years with Barca and is an U23 Ecuador international.
Almeida has cut ties to sign permanently with MLS franchise Columbus Crew.
He chose the Crew ahead of offers from Europe and the Middle East, reports Mundo Deportivo.
