Real Madrid TV have launched a new attack on match officials.

Real Madrid's media team were furious with the manner of their Copa del Rey defeat at Atletico Madrid. In their post match report, Real Madrid TV slammed the performance of ref Guillermo Cuadra Fernández.

"In the first-half... (Rodrigo) De Paul should be expelled for what has been suffered by Brahim and Vinicius. It is unacceptable.

"Today has been embarrassing. Let us remember that Cuadra Fernández is the Clos Gómez of Atlético de Madrid.

"With Clos Gómez Barcelona never lost, he is the man who carries the VAR, and the Cuadra Fernández refereeing has been intolerable. Legalising the hunt that Atlético de Madrid players have committed with those of Real Madrid is absolutely intolerable. He has pointed out 20 Atlético fouls and they made many more… De Paul has been forgiven the red.

"This is the worst thing about football. He always opts against Real Madrid. We have to play against this in every game. In Spain anything can happen. Calamitous. The Cuadra Fernández thing is expected, a series of biased decisions!"
